Top 5 Apps to help you get organised

So it’s that time of the year where students are starting their assignment work. But what’s the best way to get organised you may ask? In this article, I will discuss the top 5 apps which will help you do just that.

1. Trello

Trello is a project management app and it’s ideal for planning out assignment work. You can plan your assignment step by step with due dates per task. I use it a lot! The beauty in Trello is that it can be used for all sorts of things.

Platforms: Web, Windows, macOS, IOS, Android

Available at:

2. Google Calendar

Many people forget that an app as simple as a calendar can actually help you in planning your day. I use it to store my University timetable as well as study sessions. The reason to why I put Google Calendar second is due to the clean interface. There are many other calendars on the market which will do the same job such as the default calendar on either your Android IOS or even Windows Phone device. I like Google calendar but feel free to comment which calendar app you like!

Platforms: Web, Android, IOS

3. My Study Life

My Study Life is a dedicated app to organise your studies. It includes a Tasks list, your schedule and an exams list which integrates with the built-in calendar. This type of choice is ideal if you prefer to keep your Uni life away from your personal life. I used this app a lot in College, but now I just use Google Calendar.

Platforms: Web, Windows, Android, IOS, Chrome

Available at:

4. iStudiez Pro

iStudiez Pro is a very good app which integrates with your Google calendar. It includes a planner and a calendar. The trouble with this app is the fact that it’s not free. However, you are getting a good app for the price.

Platforms: IOS, macOS, Windows, Android

Available at:

5. Wunderlist

Wunderlist is my final recommendation. It’s basically a To Do list app. It allows you to set reminders and integrate them with your calendar. I have actually moved on from this app to Trello, which is much more advanced. However, if you only want simple reminders then this is the ideal app for you!

Platforms: Windows, Windows Phone, macOS, Android, IOS, Amazon, Chrome

These are just some of the apps available. This is just a sum up of the apps which I used in the past. There are tons of them!

Comment your favourite app!
